This stand-alone novel once again takes the reader into a Very Weird Wales, this time one with very, very harsh winters and a humanity that actually does the sensible thing and hibernates.
Obviously with some exceptions, otherwise this winter story would be rather dull.

I liked it, but I liked the other books I’ve read by him better, and while I would not call the ending disappointing I somehow would liked some.. more?
